I am happy to welcome all readers to this web Page. Our university has decided to conduct various programmes / courses ranging from certificate to research level from the academic year 2010-11 under distance education mode. The probable list of the courses to be launched is attached herewith.

The centre for distance education of this university (newly started) has opened its doors to provide educational opportunities to all those who have for various reasons remained away from the portals of learning.

We have already obtained continuation of recognition for our programmes offered through distance mode from the year 2008-09 and onwards by Distance Education Council, New Delhi Vide letter F. No. DEC / 2009 / 4873 dated 17.12.2009

The university is committed to excel in teaching, training, capacity building research and public service. This university values the appropriate use of information and communication technology to support quality teaching and learning under distance mode.

The system of Distance Education has the potential to fulfill the enormous responsibility of universalization and democratization of education by checking the falling standard of education at reasonable cost making optimum use of media and providing education to needs of the country.
