Courses Offered in the School

Admission to the school coerces is based on merit at graduate level examination. School offers five Post graduate courses. They are Master of Social Work (M.S.W.), Master of Arts in Sociology (M.A. Sociology), Masters of Arts in Applied Economics (M.A. Applied Economics), Master of Arts in Human Rights and Master of Arts in Rural Development. All courses are of two years duration distributed over four semesters with CGP. Eligibility for all PG courses is graduation with at least 40% marks (40% in economics for M.A. Applied Economics). Facility for research leading to the award of M.Phil and Ph.D degree is available in the subjects Sociology, Economics and Social Work. The eligibility and intake capacity is given as under.
