It gives me immense pleasure to welcome all the viewers to this webpage.  The SRTM University, Nanded has already taken an initiative to open the Distance Education (External Mode) for the educationally deprived people, the unreached students in this region and those working in the various sectors. In India external education opportunities at the university level have increased enormously. Most of the conventional universities have been running Distance Education Programmes on their campuses.  

Recently, there has been a tremendous awareness throughout the country about the significance of higher education but the conventional system seems not able to accommodate the increasing demand of the students. Therefore, the spread of higher education through distance mode is getting world recognition and acceptance.

The DDE of this university through its fifty nine study centres is striving hard to impart quality education. Presently the number of students enrolled in these centres is around four thousand. The DDE has the potential for fulfilling the desire and dreams of all the stakeholders.
