Social work profession being Multidisciplinary has made a teacher of Biology like me to work in Social Sciences.Due to its broad horizon it has helped me to work in the areas of Feminism, peace, Ecology,Correctional field work, Legislation, Rehabilitation, Violence against women, Trafficking, Child Abuse, Special Children's like physically and mentally challenged , Health, Poverty and much more. The inclusive nature of Social Work is making us to challenge prejudices, inspire Learning and be more relevant in Contemporary Society. 

Social Work deals with Social and Economic advancement of Humanity , so it compels us to work with Government machinery, UN organisation, Social Scientist, and NGOs. It make us to work in the areas of Developing studies that would support and benefit the marginalized communities of the society. It has it own tools ,techniques and skills that helps in creating safer environment by passing the unsafe work practices and unacceptable decisions.

Today's Contemporary world has made we Social Scientist as Public Intellectuals who have to work with the people of all ages to understand their perspective and have to discover new insights to make their lives more effective.we have to critically protect modern transparent democracy and monitor how transformation occurs by producing new insights to bring the people at par.Academically I have delivered  papers in National and International Seminars on the above said areas. 

1. First Warden of Girl's Hostel and worked for five years without any remuneration.
2. First NSS lady Coordinator
3. worked as Sports Director

4. Many times shouldered the responsibility of team manager for Inter-university competition
5. Member of Internal Grievance committee
6. As a member of Lok Adalat conducted workshop for paralegal volunteers.
7. Received certificate of Appreciation for working with Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economic , Pune for initiative to work on the Survey titled " How do Urban Voters Rate the Polling process" ? conducted at 5 major Zilla parishad Elections in Maharashtra.
8. Member of Gender Sensitization Committee Against Sexual Harassment

1. Organised program for Kargil Shaids with collector office.

2.Collaborating with Indian Sociological Society organised Two Days National Seminar

3.Worked as Secretary of Maharashtra Underprivileged teachers Association.

2. Working as Panel Judge of Lok Adalat of District Court Nanded

3. Working with Health Department and all this sector public is sensitize on various issues of law , Violence and Human Rights
