M.A. Human Rights Course Outcome, Program Outcome

Programme Educational Objective:

  1. It is beneficial to provide students with a set of critical reflection that draw upon the varied global and local social and political contexts in which Human Rights operate.
  2. The course helps to evolve strategies and schemes for tracking such attitudes like employing bonded labour, practising untachbility and help members to internalize more human and egalitarian approach in their social relations.
  1. The Master’s Degree serves as a basis for further higher studies in this field such as M.Phil. Ph.D. 
  1. The course also helps to train professional who in the design and management of actions and in decision making process will keep into account the historian, geophysics, economic dimension as the ‘gender’ component and the complexity of the intercultural relations. 
  1. Provides knowledge to students about Human Rights System. 
  1. The course helps to enable students to develop strong practical and theoretical understandings of Human Rights laws.

 

Programme Outcome:

  1. Understand the historical growth of the idea of human rights
  1. Demonstrate an awareness of the international context of human rights
  2. Demonstrate an awareness of the position of human rights in the UK prior to 1998
  3. Understand the importance of the Human Rights Act 1998
  4. Analyse and evaluate concepts and ideas.

 

Programme Specific Objective:

  1. Students will ultimately be assessed on their ability to demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, rights, ethical behaviour, service, and, as appropriate, leadership.
  2. Students will ultimately be assessed on their knowledge of the legal system and legal doctrine. Students will graduate with a broad knowledge of foundational and other core areas human rights, specialized knowledge in areas of interest, and experience with advanced study.
  3. Students will ultimately be assessed on the development of legal analysis, legal communication, and legal research.
  4. Understanding of the basic conceptions of human rights.
  5. Understanding of the relationship between individual, group, and national rights.

 

Course Objective:

  1. To understand the Human Rights, Duties and Responsibilities.
  2. To assess Problems of International Response of Human Rights.
  3. To Understand International Norms of Human Rights.
  4. To Understand Redressal Mechanism for Protection of Human Rights.
  5. To introduce the Economic Problems of Human Rights.

  2. To Understand Institutional Mechanisms of Human Rights.
  3. Understand About Executive Protection of Human Rights of Women.
  4. Understand About Role of Government Organization to Protect Human Rights.
