Objective of the Activity: To know about the life and work of Shri Guru Gobindsinghji.
Life and work of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is highly inspiring and has great relevance to the present day needs of our society. Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji also has an intimate relation with Nanded city. Keeping this view in mind Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University took initiative to establish a chair in in the name of the Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendraji Fadanvis supported this idea by announcing at all India Marathi Sahitya Sammelan held at Ghuman (State of Punjab). Subsequently University Grants Commission established a chair in the name of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded. On this background it was felt that the volume containing articles on life and work of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji should be brought out, the present volume is a culmination of this idea. The volume contains of historical aspects along with importance and relevance of teaching of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji in the present era. The original articles, contributed by the notable writers, to the volume, are in English and Hindi. It will bring out different aspects of personality and the contributions made by Shri Guru Gobind Singhji. The articles in this volume bring out the essence of Sikh religion, contributions of Sikh in Nation Building, life and work of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji.
For the Publication of Book program Sant Shri Baba Ram Singh Ji, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Pandit Vidysagar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. G.N. Shinde, The Registrar Prof. Dr. Ramjan Mulani, Ex. President of Gurudwara Board Laddu Singh Mahajan, Coordinator of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Adhyasan Sankul and Research Center Prof. Dr. Deepak Shinde and devotees were present for the program in University Senate Hall.
