After completion of MBA,  commencement of career as a management consultant in Duraware Pvt. Ltd, Jalna (manufacturers of Nirlep  the pioneer brand in non-stick cookware) from 1987 to 1994 followed by joining  at School of Commerce & Management Science, SRTM University as a lecturer in 1996 after a stint of two years as a contributory teacher. Then pursued Ph.D. and also M.Com. along with completion of several computer courses.

One UGC sponsored major research project and one SRTM University sponsored minor research project were completed as a Principal Investigator. 5 students were guided for Ph.D. and 4 students for M. Phil. and more than 150 students for MBA and M.Com. dissertations.  More than 34 publications of which 9 international, 12 national , 7 books, 3 chapters in books and 3  in souvenirs. attended 45 conferences/seminars and presented 30 papers.

Handled additional charge of Finance and Accounts Officer from November 2011 to May 2012, Head of Department of Management since Feb. 2017, President of Gender Sensitization Committee against Sexual Harassment (GSCASH) from Apr 2017 to Oct. 2018. As a core member of International Students' Centre, facilitated  admissions of foreign students for undergrad and post grad programmes and also Ph.D programme through ICCR and other sources.

Various courses like marketing management, disaster management, business entrepreneurship, principles and practice of management, human resource management, research methodology were taught in programmes like MBA, M.Com. M. Phil. Ph.D., DBM, BBA, M.Sc. B.E. As a member, BOS in Hospitality & computer studies, ad hoc board, SCMS, SRTM University; ad hoc board, Distance education, SRTM University; SIBER, Kolhapur; member, Advisory board for M.Com. & B.Com., YCMO University, Nasik contributed  for curriculum design, development and restructuring of MBA, M.Com. M. Phil. and BBA. Worked as a Resource person in various national/international conferences, seminars, workshops, EACs, EDPS, FDPs at different places

Regarding corporate work at university level, worked as Chief Superintendent, University Campus examinations in 2001, in SCMS exam winter 2018, summer 2017; custodian - cap officer at scms in winter 2018,; member, selection committee for selection of lecturers; Member, affiliation committee/inspection committee. For several universities in Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra, worked as external referee for Ph.D. and also as paper setter, examiner for MBA, M.Com. Ph.D. coursework etc.
