Admission to M.Sc. Physics program offered by the School is given on the basis of the merit of candidates that have registered for seeking admission to the course. The merit list of the registered canndidates will be prepared considering his/her score in Physics alone at B Sc level, however, they must have earned at least 24 credits under CBCS in Physics at their graduation. The available seats will be filled in following the reservation policies as laid down by the Govt. of Maharashtra. The seat distribution for the candidates from other universities within Maharashtra, other states and foreign universities is as below:

Eligibility:

Any science graduate (B. Sc.) with Physics as main or one of the optional at B. Sc. from any recognized university is eligible to apply for admission to the M. Sc. Physics course offered by this School. However, the candidate is required to have scored a minimum of second class (min. of 50%) at B.Sc. level in first attempt only and must have earned at least 24 credits in Physics at his graduation. Admissions to this course shall be given strictly on the basis of the merit list depending on the score in Physics at B. Sc level. All the candidates desiring admission to this course must register and submit their applications along with the attested copies of marks sheets of all the three years in the first week of June every year.
