It is alternative to  petroleum epoxy resin. Bioepoxy resin is 100% biobased, biodegredable in limited time, non-toxic, biocompatable, environmental friendly and used product can be recyclable to value added products. The product has been scaled up to pilot batches with industry partner (Supreme Silicones Pune). The product has been tested in India at 70 places and around the world at 28 places, The current product is suitable for cast resin applications and coating applications in the market (2017).<br>\n\n\u2022 Social Awareness about Biodegradable Polymer from vegetable oil (New innovation developed by SRTM University Nanded)<br>\n\n\u2022 SRTM University has participated in Bio Energy Urja Utsav\u2019 on 7th and 8th-July 2017 at Shiv Chhatrapati Kridanagari, Balewadi, Pune by showcasing its research strength. Products developed in the university such as vegetable oil based polymers, foam, thin film etc were exhibited at the stall. Wood pyrolysis oil to biodiesel, edible thin film and products were also displayed in the posters showing details of researched products.<br>\n\n\u2022 Rakhis from Biodegradable polymer<br>\n\n\u2022 A unique environmental friendly Rakhi has been developed by SRTM University Nanded from non-edible oil. RUSA Project (Start up) 2017 \u2022 The University-industry collaborative project has developed an renewable source based bioepoxy resin. It is alternative to petroleum epoxy resin. Bioepoxy resin is 100% biobased, biodegredable in limited time, non-toxic, biocompatable, environmental friendly and used product can be recyclable to value added products. The product has been scaled up to pilot batches with industry partner (Supreme Silicones Pune).
