The New Model Degree College has the rare distinction of being the first in Maharashtra to commence its academic programmes. The College has introduced ‘Job Oriented Courses’ at UG & PG level with a totally new pattern which is of I.I.T.’s and international standard. The courses which are offered include B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Com, B.Sc. (Bio-Tech), B.Sc. (Computer Sci.), B.A (Honors), B.S.W (Social Work), M.Com. & M.Sc. (Computer Sci.). From the Academic Year 2026- 2027, B.Sc. in Data Science i.e. B.Sc (data Science) is being introduced as a new course. Now college has implemented ‘National Education Policy – 2020’ and believe that it will help us to prepare our student for the challenges of the 21st century. All the innovative courses with modern curriculum right at degree level offer good opportunities to students to develop their hidden skills and develop their overall personality.
The Administrative-cum-Academic building is large with G + 2 floors and is the only such building in the Hingoli district. The first batch of the college started in the 2011-12 session and the student strength is increasing each following academic year and is now more than 500 in the current academic year. The government has cooperated to the best of its ability for the progress of the College & University.
New Model Degree College will definitely be rated among the top educational institutes of Maharashtra. The university is making all efforts to develop close interface with different industries in order to make available ready to employ personnel with optimum communication skills. All the courses are tailor made for the market as well as for voluntary organizations. The graduates passing from this conducted college of the university will not only be able to get jobs but will also serve as job providers in Hingoli District. Students joining the New Model Degree College, Hingoli will have an exciting experience of learning and research based projects.
Our college students also engage in various activities such as NSS, Sports, Blood donation Camp, Avishkar, Cultural Activity, Seminar, Conferences etc. Students are recognized & awarded at University & State levels in different activities.

रॅगिंग विरोधी नियमन
रॅगिंगला कायदेशीररित्या बंदी आहे. तो दंडनीय गुन्हा आहे. रॅगिंगच्या वाढत्या घटना लक्षात घेता, विद्यापीठ अनुदान आयोगाने "उच्च शैक्षणिक संस्थांमध्ये रॅगिंगचा धोका कमी करण्यासाठी यूजीसी नियम, रॅगिंग हे कोणतेही गैरवर्तन आहे" कोणताही विद्यार्थी किंवा विद्यार्थी, मग तो बोललेल्या किंवा लिहिलेल्या शब्दांद्वारे किंवा अशा कृतीद्वारे ज्याचा परिणाम फ्रेशर्स किंवा इतर कोणत्याही विद्यार्थ्याला छेडणे, वागणूक देणे किंवा असभ्यतेने हाताळणे असा होतो, किंवा कोणत्याही विद्यार्थ्याने केलेल्या उपद्रवी किंवा शिस्तबद्ध कृतींमध्ये समावेश करणे ज्यामुळे त्रास, त्रास किंवा मानसिक हानी होते किंवा होण्याची शक्यता असते किंवा कोणत्याही फ्रेशर्स किंवा इतर कोणत्याही विद्यार्थ्यामध्ये भीती किंवा भीती निर्माण होते किंवा कोणत्याही विद्यार्थ्याला असे कोणतेही कृत्य करण्यास सांगणे जे असा विद्यार्थी कोणत्याही सामान्य अभ्यासक्रमात करणार नाही आणि ज्याचा परिणाम अशा फ्रेशर्स किंवा इतर कोणत्याही विद्यार्थ्याच्या शरीरावर किंवा मानसिकतेवर प्रतिकूल परिणाम करण्यासाठी लज्जा, त्रास किंवा लाज निर्माण करणे किंवा निर्माण करणे असा आहे, दुःखद आनंद मिळविण्याच्या हेतूने किंवा विद्यार्थ्याने कोणत्याही फ्रेशर्स किंवा इतर कोणत्याही विद्यार्थ्यावर शक्ती, अधिकार किंवा श्रेष्ठता दाखविण्याच्या हेतूने किंवा त्याशिवाय”.
रॅगिंग विरोधी समिती, रॅगिंग विरोधी पथकाने स्थापित केलेल्या गुन्ह्याच्या स्वरूपावर आणि गांभीर्यानुसार, दोषी आढळलेल्यांना खालीलपैकी एक किंवा अधिक शिक्षा देऊ शकते:
- वर्गात उपस्थित राहण्यापासून आणि शैक्षणिक विशेषाधिकारांपासून निलंबन.
- शिष्यवृत्ती/फेलोशिप आणि इतर फायदे रोखणे/काढून घेणे
- कोणत्याही चाचणी/परीक्षेत किंवा इतर मूल्यांकन प्रक्रियेत उपस्थित राहण्यापासून बंदी घालणे
- निकाल रोखणे.
- कोणत्याही प्रादेशिक, राष्ट्रीय किंवा आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्पर्धा, स्पर्धा, युवा महोत्सव इत्यादींमध्ये संस्थांचे प्रतिनिधित्व करण्यापासून बंदी घालणे.
- वसतिगृहातून निलंबन / हकालपट्टी.
- प्रवेश रद्द करणे.
- एका ते सहा सत्रांच्या कालावधीसाठी संस्थेकडून रस्टिकेशन.
- संस्थेतून काढून टाकणे आणि परिणामी विशिष्ट कालावधीसाठी इतर कोणत्याही संस्थेत प्रवेश घेण्यास मनाई करणे. परंतु जर रॅगिंगचे कृत्य करणाऱ्या किंवा प्रोत्साहन देणाऱ्या व्यक्तींची ओळख पटली नाही तर संस्था सामूहिक शिक्षेचा अवलंब करेल.
आपत्कालीन परिस्थितीत विद्यार्थ्यांना अँटी रॅगिंग कमिटीचा सल्ला घेण्याचा सल्ला देण्यात येतो.
